Welcome to my website

My name is Katarzyna Bednarz and I am

Certified Urogynecological Physiotherapist.

I am registered with the HCPC Health and Care Professions Council under number PH121167.

HCPC is a government body that supervises the activities and maintains a register of 15 medical professions in Great Britain, verifies education and qualifications, controls the quality of services provided, and checks further education/courses.

I offer physiotherapy treatments, women's physiotherapy - urogynecology.

I teach safe exercises, raise awareness, show proper habits, help with back pain during pregnancy, and prepare the body for natural childbirth. I make every woman aware that taking care of her own health is our priority.

The goal of my therapy is a healthy and fit body.

I am a Master of Physiotherapy from Zamość - I am still training, expanding my knowledge, reading, and improving my skills.

My passion is urogynecology and women's therapy.

I have completed numerous postgraduate courses and training, such as:

- postgraduate training in Krakow in the field of "Physiotherapy in urinary and fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse". The training consisted of five modules lasting a total of 136 hours. It ended with a theoretical and practical exam granting the title: Urogynecological Therapist. Training accredited by the Polish Urogynecological Society PTUG.

Urogynecological Physiotherapy

Urogynecological physiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of muscle dysfunctions within the pelvic diaphragm, i.e. the muscles in the lower part of the abdominal cavity and perineum.

Children's Posture Defects

How to correct posture defects in children? The therapy involves carrying out specially selected corrective exercises - adapted to the type of defect and the age of the small patient. During therapy to correct posture defects, it is important to strengthen the postural muscles, abdominal muscles, back muscles and leg extensors. Postural defects are all types of changes and deformations occurring within the musculoskeletal system. It is worth adding that any disorders that deviate from the correct posture tend to gradually deepen. Moreover, various figure deformations should be appropriately corrected using special exercises
